Oddvent 2011 is here!

Well peoples it’s that time again. Welcome to Oddvent 2011. We’re hoping to make this something of an institution, so hopefully by around October 2012 children up and down the country will exclaim with wild-eyed delight ‘oh gosh, it’s only 10 weeks ‘til Oddvent!’ and aw that.

Anyway festive marketing cynicism aside, we thought we’d give all you good good people a bunch of free stuff again. So over the next 24 days expect Odd-based activity on a daily basis running the full gamut from live tour diaries and performances to remixes, visual and aural treats.

Every Friday of Oddvent we’ll be releasing a free download that will, in its entirety, make up the third EP of our 3-EP series for 2011. The final EP, ‘A Motley Assortment of Things’ will be recorded on a weekly basis throughout December, with a new track released at the end of each week. This will be Stanley Odd on record at their freshest (and least polished), with the idea no sooner scribbled, chopped, sampled and musically molocated, than uploaded and available for your perusal.
